This was held on the campus of the University of Worcester, home to the National Pollen and Aerobiology Unit. For the Saturday afternoon, it repeated the formula that Swansea & District BKA had used successfully in 2003, offering a choice of five different workshops.

Hothorpe Hall, a Georgian manor house near Lutterworth, provided a grand venue for this conference. A talk and outing of more-general interest on the Friday and Saturday afternoon provided something for non-beekeeping partners too.

2005 Hosts: Derbyshire BKA
Derbyshire BKA gave this conference the theme “Challenge of 21st century beekeeping”, reflected in talks on research, the Internet, new pests and the future in general. It was held at the Hayes Conference Centre, near Alfreton and attracted 48 delegates.
